We're looking for a Senior Backend Developer to help build and scale our lending platform. You'll work with a team of engineers to design and implement APIs, services, and database schemas that power our user-facing applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable server-side code
- Implement security and data protection measures
- Integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Build and optimize database schemas and queries
- Collaborate with frontend developers and other team members
- Troubleshoot and debug applications
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in backend development
- Proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, and SQL/NoSQL databases
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Knowledge of API design and development
- Understanding of fundamental design principles for scalable applications
- Experience with version control systems (Git)
- Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD)
- Knowledge of financial systems is a plus
